‘Boring Mother F*ckers’: Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor, pros blast disappointing UFC 326 main event

The rematch between Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway didn’t live up to the hype.

Finally meeting again over 10 years since they first clashed, Oliveira put on a dominant grappling performance to cleanly beat Holloway on the scorecards in Saturday’s UFC 326 main event. Unfortunately for fans expecting an all-time “BMF” championship classic, Holloway had no answers for Oliveira’s legendary jiu-jitsu game and the majority of the contest saw Oliveira punishing his fellow future Hall of Famer on the ground.

Former UFC fighter Nate Diaz, one half of the inaugural BMF title fight in 2019 and the man responsible for the belt’s conception, slammed both fighters for the uneventful five-rounder.

“Boring Mother F*ckers,” Diaz wrote on Twitter. Earlier, he also wrote, “These guys all dorks fighting for my belt. You’re welcome.”

Conor McGregor echoed the sentiments of his two-time opponent, calling the main event a “shockingly bad fight” and that Oliveira should “hang your head.”
