This, as U.S. President Donald Trump threatens Iranian leaders with a new post on Truth Social.

“They’ve been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, am killing them,” Trump stated. “What a great honour it is to do so!”

Attacks hit Iran’s capital of Tehran and the surrounding area, as Iran continues to strike neighbouring Arab Gulf States. The continued fighting has pushed oil prices back above $100 a barrel.

More than 600 have been killed in Lebanon, more than 1,300 perished in Iran and a dozen died in Israel. At least seven U.S. soldiers have died during the fighting.

Here’s the latest from the war on Friday:

4 aboard U.S. refuelling plane killed

Four of six crew members aboard the U.S. KC-135 refuelling aircraft that crashed in Iraq have died, the U.S. military confirmed.

The crash occurred following an unspecified event that involved two aircraft in “friendly airspace,” according to U.S. Central Command. Central Command noted the other plane landed safely.

It said the circumstances of the crash are under investigation but that the loss of the aircraft was “not due to hostile or friendly fire.”

An American official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the other plane involved was also a KC-135.

The KC-135 Stratotanker is a U.S. Air Force aircraft used to refuel other planes in midair. The plane is also used to transport wounded personnel during medical evacuations or conduct surveillance missions, military experts stated.

Strike in Lebanon kills 2

A strike in eastern Lebanon by Israeli military aircraft killed two people.

Israel was targeting an Islamic group. The strike hit an apartment in the eastern village of Bar Elias, according to the state-run National News Agency.

Wounded in the attack were Youssef Dahouk, a local official with al-Jamaa al-Islamiya, or the Islamic Group, and two others.

Dahouk’s two sons were killed in the strike, the news agency reported.

Oman drone crash kills 2 foreigners

A drone crashed in an industrial area in the region of Sohar, Oman, killing two foreigners and wounding others.

Another drone crashed in an open area in the same region, but there were no casualties.

Trump calls Iranian leaders ‘deranged scumbags’

U.S. President Donald Trump issued a new threat to Iran, writing on Truth Social: “Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today.”

In the Friday social media post, Trump boasted that “Iran’s Navy is gone, their Air Force is no longer, missiles, drones and everything else are being decimated, and their leaders have been wiped from the face of the earth.”

“They’ve been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, am killing them,” Trump wrote. “What a great honour it is to do so!”

58 injured after missile attack on Israel

Paramedics in Israel said about 48 people were injured following a missile attack on Zarzir, about 100 kilometres north of Jerusalem.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service said one person was in moderate condition and 57 people sustained minor injuries.

On Friday, Hezbollah said it had fired several rocket salvos toward northern Israel and at Israeli troops in southern Lebanon.
