Monaco set sights on Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta
· Yahoo Sports
Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is attracting interest from Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Berta only arrived at Arsenal last year. The Italian oversaw the Gunners’ summer transfer dealings, which saw the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze, and Martin Zubimendi arrive at the club. The dealings over the summer could help guide Arsenal to the Premier League title, while, having dispatched Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night, they are considered one of the favourites to win this season’s UEFA Champions League.

Naturally, Berta is attracting interest from other big clubs. Despite the presence of two sporting directors at Bayern Munich (Max Eberl and Christoph Freund), Bayern Munich are interested in the Italian’s services.
Manchester City interested in Berta
Manchester City are also interested, Foot Mercato understands, despite the Cityzens only bringing in Hugo Viana last year. Should Pep Guardiola depart in the summer, there could be a reshuffle at Manchester City.
Monaco are also interested, should CEO Thiago Scuro, who has come under pressure this season, leave his post.
