The New England Patriots are reportedly adding another player to their secondary.
"Patriots reach a 1-year deal with free-agent CB Kindle Vildor (Buccaneers), per his agents per his agents Kevin Conner and Robert Brown," ESPN's Mike Reiss posted on Bluesky.
Kindle Vildor played the first three seasons of his career with the Chicago Bears after being selected in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Vildor recorded a career-high 46 tackles in 2021, and a career-high five passes defended in 2022.
He was claimed off waivers by the Tennessee Titans in August 2023 when Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel was at the helm of the AFC South club.
Vildor played just two games with the Titans before being waived and joining the Detroit Lions.
The Georgia Southern product signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2025 and finished last season with 16 tackles and three passes defended across 12 contests, while recording his second career interception as well.
