KARABO MAREKA SHARES HER INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE
Karabo opened up about the process of joining Vista America.
She shared on her Instagram story: “My last round of interview was the face-to-face interview over a month ago. NERVOUS! But let me tell you guys I remembered it honestly can’t be as bad as the Miss SA interview rounds as soon as I remembered that I was so calm. No interview phases me anymore.”
She compared her new interview with her Miss South Africa experience. Karabo said: “I can’t believe I’m about to start my interview. My voice is shaky. I just feel like I’ve gone through Miss South Africa and that was probably the hardest interview I might have gone through in my life.”
RUSHED PROCESS AND SURPRISE
The private aviation opportunity came quickly. Karabo revealed that she had to fly to the United States in just four days after completing her interview.
“It hasn’t even been an hour since I last completed my interview. They just sent me an email and they want to meet me face to face. I need to fly in like four days,” she shared.
She added that the job was completely unexpected. “I need y’all to understand I had NO IDEA this job existed. So, when I applied everything went so fast | had no time to breathe. I was shocked every time,” Karabo wrote.
KARABO MAREKA SAYS IT FEELS SURREAL
Karabo also described how exciting and surreal this moment is for her.
“You guys, this feels so surreal. It actually feels so surreal because I just put on my uniform for the first time. It’s graduation day today and I am so excited. I’m so proud of myself because it’s definitely not easy.
“It wasn’t easy at all and everything was worth it. All those interviews and rounds, so worth it. I’m excited to see what’s going to come out of this job and new experiences,” she said.
