According to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, the defending World Series champions will get cash in return for Ketih, who topped out at Double-A Tulsa in 2025 and hit 11 home runs in 89 games.

Keith, 25, is a Southern California native whom the Dodgers drafted in the 18th round of the 2021 MLB Draft out of Cal Baptist in Riverside.

Keith showed decent power in his first exposure to the Double-A level in 2024. In 75 games with Tulsa, he slugged .496 while reaching base at a .340 clip.

But he also struck out 94 times in 318 plate appearances. His strikeout rate actually ticked up in 2025, from 29.1 percent to 30.7, while his walk rate fell (10.7 to 9.1 percent).

The minor league baseball seasons begin March 27, and the timing of the trade is not a coincidence. As teams set their 2026 rosters, those who project to be crunched for playing time but have value on the trade market are likely to switch teams.

Keith joins the Brewers organization five months after they played the Dodgers in the 2025 National League Championship Series.
