Lineup Notes: Lankinen Starts, Kane Sits As Canucks Take On The Avalanche

The Vancouver Canucks continue their road trip on Tuesday as they take on the Colorado Avalanche. Some big news from the Avalanche side as Cale Makar will not be in the lineup as he recovers from an injury. Here are the lineup notes for April 1, 2026.

In net for Vancouver will be Kevin Lankinen. The 30-year-old has started seven of the last eight games, but has made an appearance in all eight. In 43 games this season, Lankinen has an 8-26-5 record with a .877 save percentage. 

As for the lineup notes, Evander Kane and Victor Mancini are the projected scratches for Vancouver. Max Sasson and Pierre-Olivier Joseph will replace Kane and Mancini in the lineup. Kane is coming off his 1,000th career game and has suited up 70 times this season.
