According to Penn Live's Nick Farabaugh, the Steelers hosted Michigan Wolverines tight end Marlin Klein for a pre-draft top-30 visit. Additionally, USC Trojans wide receiver Makai Lemon and Toledo Rockets safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren also visited, which can be viewed with our Steelers Wire tracker.
Klein, an underrated, high-upside tight end prospect who is an exceptional blocker, measures at a massive 6 feet 6 inches and weighs 248 pounds.
Recording an impressive 4.61 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, Klein has flown under the radar throughout the draft process and is projected to be a Day 3 prospect—an ideal fit for the Steelers after releasing Jonnu Smith.
