Is quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo retiring from the NFL?
Visit h-doctor.club for more information.
Jimmy G calling it quits is apparently on the table, per NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. He also called Garoppolo the Los Angeles Rams' top option as a backup quarterback for the upcoming season should he continue his career.
Rapoport said that Garoppolo, 34, "is mulling a final decision." Could the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback actually close out his playing days?
He won two Super Bowls as a backup with the New England Patriots and took San Francisco to the big game in 2020, but it sure sounds like he may call it good and move on to greener pastures.
Of course, if Jimmy G retires, we'd be fascinated to see what the Rams do at quarterback to backup Matthew Stafford.
#Rams free agent QB Jimmy Garoppolo, considered their top option as backup QB, is considering retirement, sources say.
