When the Indianapolis Colts and quarterback Anthony Richardson decided it was best for him to seek a trade away from the franchise this offseason, many were intrigued.

Why? Because we weren't sure what the market would be for him.

He's been in and out of the team due to form and injury, and when on the field, he hasn't exactly set the world on fire, so it was always going to be interesting to see which teams wanted to take a chance.

And as the NFL Draft comes into view, Richardson is still a Colt, and general manager Chris Ballard gave an update on the Richardson trade talks.

"We've had some calls, but nothing's come to fruition at this time," Ballard said via the team's official website. "So at this point he's still an Indianapolis Colt."

Richardson gets NFL reality check?

To an extent, yes, as Richardson, a former top pick from his draft class, when he was made available for trade, some thought teams might be bashing Indianapolis' door down to get him.

But most thought the market might not be there for Richardson, and so far, that's proven correct.

Of course, teams could simply wait until after the draft or until an injury at training camp, and offer the bare bones for Richardson, but one thing is clear: there aren't many teams interested in taking a chance on him.

Yes, that could change in the coming weeks, but right now, Richardson is still a Colt. But for how long? Your guess is as good as mine.
