Six Texas Longhorns players were drafted in this year's 2026 NFL Draft. Half of the UT players drafted are now Miami Dolphins, who loaded up on Longhorns players. And there's plenty of behind the scenes video of the players getting the call and celebrating their new beginning.

The action started late in the second round on Friday night, when the Tennessee Titans took Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. Hill was always projected to be the first UT player picked. The rest of the five Horns were taken on Saturday. Malik Muhammad was picked in the fourth round by the Chicago Bears.

Then, remarkably, the next three Longhorns to get drafted all went to the Miami Dolphins. They will join former Texas QB Quinn Ewers, who is starting his second year in South Beach. The Dolphins took Trey Moore, Michael Taaffe and DJ Campbell.

Finally, tight end Jack Endries was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals to wrap up UT's draft for another year. Last year, a record 12 Longhorns were drafted. Next year's draft will be much more Longhorns heavy, with the possibility of Arch Manning going No. 1.

But none of that matters to the six Texas players drafted this year.
