Dontay Corleone had one of the best names in the 2026 NFL Draft class.
Despite that, he went undrafted, and he's still waiting to sign a contract as of midday Sunday after the draft concluded on Saturday night.
Corleone is a 6-foot-2, 305-pound defensive lineman who played four seasons at the University of Cincinnati.
He had 17.0 career tackles for loss, including 9.5 sacks, in 44 games for the Bearcats.
He's waiting for his chance now. Some mock drafts had him being a late-round pick, but that didn't happen.

Why hasn't Dontay Corleone signed with an NFL team?
The basic answer here is that no one quite knows.
There are a couple possibilities, not all of them bad.
One is that he has multiple offers but is weighing a particular thing before he decides.
Another is that there is concern about how blood clots he dealt with and had to overcome during his college career might be viewed by NFL teams. He came back to play, but potentially the medical determinations by teams weren't positive.
He could also be just a bit below the bar to get a quick signing.
It's likely a contract will still come, but he's waiting for now.
