The Bills' newest addition to the wide receiver group says he's ready to add his versatility and fit into whatever role his coaches have envisioned for him.
"I'm dynamic; I'm explosive, versatile. I [can] do a lot of different things inside, outside, deep ball, contested catches, intermediate catches," Bell said to the press.
In 2025, Bell was the first consensus All-American selection in program history and a Biletnikoff Award Finalist who led all FBS teams in 2025 with seven 100-yard receiving games while leading the Huskies with 101 receptions and 13 receiving touchdowns, which were both single-season school records, to go with 1,278 total yards receiving. All-American status, and Bell became the first consensus selection in program history.
He also had a 4.4 40-yard dash and was sixth among wide receivers with an athleticism score of 85 at the NFL Scouting Combine. Bell was the second offensive player the Bills drafted after selecting OL Jude Bowry at No. 102.
Bell is familiar with other players Buffalo has brought in from Storrs, including former offensive lineman Ryan Van Demark and current offensive tackle Chase Lundt, whom Bell spoke with pre-draft.
"He was wishing me good luck and [said] everything's going to take care of itself, but nothing too crazy," Bell said about the chat. "I'm just glad I'm going to play with [Lundt] again. Super cool, man. He's a great teammate, great person, great player."
He is also familiar with defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard who was Wisconsin's defensive coordinator from 2017-2022 while Bell was there in 2021 and 2022.
"I was doing a lot of scout team stuff, and he was our DC, so I was running the routes against his defense," Bell added. "Sometimes I [went] up to his office and we watched the tape. He [was] trying to get me better. He's telling me things to work on that I could be better [at, and for] his defense to get them better. It's just a revolving door, a little bit of everybody making each other better.
"So, I think his knowledge of the game and his ability just to help me, even from the defensive side of the ball was huge for me."
Bell credits Leonhard in part for his development and said he plans to give him "the craziest hug ever" when they see each other.
