Formula 1 returns to racing after an extended schedule delay caused by the war in Iran. Now the Miami Grand Prix brings racing back with some changes to the regulations. Here’s when, where, and how to watch race week.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a month since Formula 1 last raced. When the Grand Prix of Japan ended on March 29, the FIA and Formula 1 opted to cancel the Bahrain Grand Prix and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. With it, the F1 schedule dropped to 22 races, creating a five-week break.

At long last, the Miami Grand Prix returns on Friday. With the break, the FIA and F1 have used the additional time to tweak the regulations following driver complaints about the first three races of the season. The changes should allow for better pure racing over harvesting battery power. The additional time has allowed the technical teams to get a better handle on the changes to the car that were introduced for the 2026 season.
