Let’s start the night off by taking a look back over the three biggest stories of Monday, May 11, 2026.

  1. UFC 328 results: Matches to make for ‘Khamzat vs. Strickland’ main card winners: Khamzat vs. Paulo Costa at 205 pounds is going to be so, so sick.
  2. King Green passed over for UFC 328 $100k bonus, will get custom shorts instead: King Green asked for a raise and got a pizza party instead — many such cases.
  3. Video: UFC posts pivotal fifth round from Strickland-Chimaev title fight, Khamzat demands immediate rematch: Khamzat’s “Kill Everyone” schtick stops working when he doesn’t want to cut weight anymore and just looked kind of mediocre. You can’t call for a rematch and stop being a Middleweight!

Insomnia

I don’t think anyone particularly liked how the Strickland vs. Khamzat “beef” played out, but Nate Diaz is especially indignant. Also, it’s still insane to think about how Diaz was actually supposed to fight Khamzat …

I’ll give Paddy Pimblett the benefit of the doubt here and assume he was just goofing around here, but … those defensive reactions don’t look great!

The one smart thing Joaquin Buckley did in 15 minutes … Demetrious Johnson used the same technique to avoid Joseph Benavidez’s guillotine after getting rocked in their first fight!

William Gomis’ wife is (allegedly) ride-or-die.

Sean Strickland goes off on Ariel Helwani! And vice versa!

Young Pudz!

If Joshua Van can maintain his current rate for a very long time, he is one of very few people with a chance to surpass Max Holloway’s punch count. A special fighter!

Slips, rips, and KO clips

Ex-UFC Midldeweight Laureano Staropoli just scored one of the year’s best knockouts.

… and yet this random spin kick from the French amateur scene might be even better?

Samperi landed some big lefts from Southpaw before switching Ortho for the left hook finish. Sneaky!

Random Land

The sun is hard to comprehend if you really give it any consideration.
