Purdue football added one of the state's best linebacker prospects Friday night with a commitment from Andrean's Ethan Reyna.

Reyna announced his commitment with a post on X. The three-star prospect is ranked No. 988 nationally in the Rivals industry rankings and in the top 100 for linebackers.

The 6-foot, 220-pound Reyna has been a frequent visitor to West Lafayette and is scheduled to make an official visit next month. His only other reported official visit was to Western Michigan, though he also held offers from Minnesota, Rutgers and several other MAC programs.

Per Maxpreps, Reyna totaled 105 tackles (49 solos) with seven for loss, two sacks and one interception for Andrean last season. The 59ers won the Class 2A state championship after reaching semistate in 2024.

Reyna is the fifth known commitment to Purdue's 2027 class and the second on defense, joining Huntington Beach (California) cornerback Gianni Porfilio. Reyna is also the first Indiana commitment in the class.
