HOOVER — Bub Terrell made his presence felt early in Auburn baseball's SEC Tournament semifinal game against 7-seed Arkansas, launching a one-out solo shot in the second to give the Tigers an early lead.
Then his made a bigger impact with his glove three frames later, robbing Arkansas of a pair of runs on a leaping catch at the left-field wall in the top of the fourth.

Terrell's acrobatics came after Auburn starter Alex Petrovic surrendered a one-out single to Arkansas third baseman TJ Pompey, who dropped a bunt and beat the throw to first. Nolan Souza became Terrell's victim in the next at-bat, having his moonshot swiped, then Petrovic struck out Maika Niu to reach the midway point of the inning.
That was immediately followed by the grounds crew at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex rolling out the tarp. The Tigers and Razorbacks are in a weather delay, but those in attendance saw a thundering display in the field before the lightning strikes neared.
It's a bird. It's a plane. IT'S BUB! 😤
