Auburn baseball was revealed as one of 16 hosts for regional play in this year's NCAA Tournament on Sunday, May 24. The Tigers find out exactly where they're seeded, as well as who they'll host, during the tournament's selection show on Monday (11 a.m. CT, ESPN).

Since the tournament moved to its current format in 2018, Auburn's hosted a regional three other times, including back-to-back regionals in 2022 and 2023.

Last spring, Auburn earned its first national seed since 2003, which the tournament's selection committee grants to the top eight teams in the field. The seeding landed Auburn a regional bid and, eventually, the first-ever NCAA super regional on the Plains.

Entering Selection Monday, Auburn's a top-five team nationally in both of the metrics used to evaluate tournament teams, RPI and DSR. It also has the strongest schedule in the nation, which resulted in a 38-19 record overall and 17-13 record against the SEC.

The Tigers capped their regular season with their longest run at the SEC Tournament since 2003, beating 14-seed LSU and 3-seed Texas A&M en route to a semifinals appearances against 7-seed Arkansas.
