Kevin Milewski injury update, latest on Mississippi State catcher for NCAA regional

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State baseball starting catcher Kevin Milewski cleared concussion protocol, according to coach Brian O'Connor.
"He met those protocols on Saturday morning," O'Connor said on May 25 after the NCAA Tournament selection show. "He was cleared and tested by our doctors again and did catch eight innings in our scrimmage on Saturday night."

The Bulldogs (40-17) got the No. 14 national seed and are hosting the Starkville Regional at Dudy Noble Field. They play No. 4 Lipscomb (29-24) first on May 29 (1 p.m., ESPN+).
Milewski has missed MSU's last three games after getting hit by a foul tip.
Andrew Raymond has also been out with an injury, but O'Connor did not give an update on him. Raymond and Milewski were both game-time decisions on the injury report for the SEC Tournament but did not play.
Chone James has started the last three games at catcher.
Kevin Milewski stats
Milewski a Seton Hall transfer, has started 34 games and played in 38. He bats .215 but has nine home runs, 21 RBIs and 27 runs.
