Heavyweight fighter and former NFL player, Greg Hardy, suffered another brutal knockout loss earlier tonight (Sat., May 30, 2026) at Fight Nation Championship 31 from Belgrade, Serbia.

Making matters worse is the fact that Hardy missed weight by 26 pounds on Friday. Just an all-around awful showing this week for the former UFC heavyweight contender.

Hardy, 37, has fallen on tough times as a fighter. The former Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman was just 1-3 in his last four MMA appearances heading into this weekend, with all of those losses coming by way of knockout. “Prince of War” did find some success on the pro boxing scene with a 3-0 record from 2022-2023, but he suffered vicious knockout defeats in an exhibition boxing match and bareknuckle bout. Needless to say, Hardy can’t keep taking the type of punishment he has been.

On Saturday, Hardy tried to save some face after a miserable 26-pound weight miss in a matchup against fellow UFC outcast, Darko Stosic. Despite a ridiculous 52-pound weight advantage when the fight started, Hardy didn’t have much to offer. Stosic dragged him to deep water where he capped his efforts off with a massive overhand right in the third round. It connected flush, Hardy went down, and Stosic unloaded heavy insurance shots to force the referee’s hand.
