But Game 1 for fans rooting for a San Antonio loss ended in perfect fashion, with a Spurs loss and a meltdown from a fan, who rushed the court.

The first game of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks was briefly delayed on June 3 when a fan ran onto the court in the fourth quarter and attempted to take a selfie with Spurs' star Victor Wembanyama.

The fan was quickly removed from the court by security, but his actions and those of another person involved in the incident have serious consequences.

The fans have received lifetime bans from all NBA arenas, a league spokesperson told ESPN.
