MADISON – Jordy Nelson and Donald Driver are teaming up again, but this time on the golf course at the American Family Insurance Championship.

The former Green Bay Packers wide receivers and Super Bowl champion teammates will knock a golf ball around the TPC Wisconsin on June 6 as part of Andy North’s celebrity foursome at the tournament, as Nelson stepped in for Larry Fitzgerald Jr.

Fitzgerald was initially scheduled to play with North, Driver and former University of Wisconsin hockey star Caroline Harvey, but his father, Larry Fitzgerald Sr., died June 1.

North, a two-time U.S. Open champion and Thorp native, has hosted the foursome since the tournament's inception in 2016.

Driver and Nelson played together in Green Bay from 2008-12, and both are Packers Hall of Famers. Driver holds franchise records for career receptions and receiving yards and Nelson holds the single-season franchise mark for receiving yards.

The celebrity foursome will tee off on hole No. 1 on June 6 following the last group of players and will play a nine-hole exhibition, starting at approximately 1:45 p.m.

Tournament director Nate Pokrass said the tournament made a donation to the Larry Fitzgerald Foundation.
