The Minnesota Twins have added a right-handed reliever with Major League experience on a minor league deal.

According to the Twins' Triple-A affiliate, the organization has agreed to a contract with Austin Voth.
The 33-year-old elected free agency on Tuesday after rejecting an outright assignment with the Toronto Blue Jays.
Voth's performance with the Blue Jays wasn't pretty, as he allowed six earned runs on eight hits, including three home runs, in nine innings. That skyrocketed his ERA to 9.00, albeit in a small sample size.
However, he has thrown 366.1 MLB innings, and the Twins could still be putting the pieces of the puzzle together with the bullpen after a very active trade deadline in 2025.

"Voth is the only other starter on the Triple-A team with MLB experience and will probably get a look as a long man at some point this summer," Anthony Franco of MLB Trade Rumors wrote Thursday.
This is not a flashy move for the Twins, but it could help balance the workload of relievers while starters like Bailey Ober and Mick Abel are on the injured list.
