New eras, raw milk, and legendary status! Special ‘Countdown’ video drops for UFC White House

A UFC championship belt is displayed as US President Donald Trump speaks about the upcoming "UFC Freedom 250" event, in the Oval Office of the White House on May 6, 2026, in Washington, DC. An Ultimate Fighting Championship event will be staged on the White House's South Lawn in June. Alex Pereira drank cow’s milk right from the tap.

I’m not sure what that has to do with his UFC White House co-main event against Ciryl Gane on Sunday (June 14) on Paramount+ from Washington, DC, but the “Countdown” special released in advance of the event is filled with all sorts of random moments, which includes a main event preview for Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje.

“It’s always important for me to be back home in Brazil,” Pereira said. “Being here definitely helps me stay connected to my roots. That means a lot to me, it really energizes me. We’re in a new place for this camp, Sobralia. Glover’s from here. He’s a champion, so I knew there was something special here.”

Something white and creamy there, too.

You can expect the promotion to bludgeon fans with a never-ending stream of pre-fight videos ahead of this weekend’s landmark event, which UFC CEO Dana White is hoping will draw “Super Bowl” numbers. That’s assuming those pesky litigators don’t get their way and shut the whole thing down before fight night.
