The Detroit Red Wings have too many and could look to trade away the youngster Sebastian Cossa.
On paper, the teams make a great match.
That's what makes the rumor circulating on social media so confusing. It sure looks reasonable:
BREAKING: Sources are saying the #letsgooilers are acquiring top goalie prospect Sebastian Cossa from the Detroit Red Wings. Package is based around a 2nd round pick. Could be more picks/prospects involved.

More to come.

Did Sebastian Cossa get traded?
It doesn't appear that Cossa has been traded, at least as of the end of Monday, June 8.
None of the major insiders are on this news, and the teams haven't officially announced anything.
It's fair to think Cossa is going to move, and that maybe it'll even be Edmonton in front at that point, but for now, he's still under contract with the Red Wings orgnization.
No amount of viral social media posts is going to change an NHL team's trade plans.
Cossa could go, but he isn't gone yet.
