The Athletics brought the fireworks to Las Vegas to mark their first win in Nevada after 30 years. In the 7-5 win against the Milwaukee Brewers, five A's hitters contributed with a home run each.
Before the win on Tuesday at Las Vegas Ballpark, the last time the A's won a game here was on April 7, 1996, when they played their first two series of the season at Cashman Field due to renovations at the Oakland Coliseum.
In front of 9,726 spectators at Cashman Field, they defeated the Detroit Tigers 7-6. There was also a breathtaking play, as the audience witnessed a phenomenal catch by the A's center fielder Ernie Young to rob in what could have been a deep pocket hit by Detroit's Bobby Higginson.

The Brewers jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first inning with Jackson Chourio's two-run home run off A's ace J.T. Ginn. Nick Kurtz shot a solo home run in the bottom half to cut the lead in half.
Henry Bolte hit the first home run of his career in the second inning as the A's took a 3-2 lead with a two-run blast off Robert Gasser. Sal Frelick's RBI single in the fourth tied the scores.
The third homer of the night from the A's camp came after Tyler Soderstrom hit a solo home run in the fifth inning. Jonah Heim made it a 6-3 game with another home run against Gasser in the same frame.
Frelick's RBI groundout, followed by Christian Yelich's RBI, made it 6-5 in the sixth inning. Before the Brewers could threaten to tie the game, the A's extended their lead with Zack Gelof's solo home run against Joel Kuhnel in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Things remained quiet after an explosive sixth inning for both sides, as the A's registered a 7-5 win.
With five home runs on Tuesday and seven home runs in Monday's dramatic 15-14 loss against the Brewers, the A's have matched the franchise record of most home runs (12) hit in a two-game span. Previously, the feat was realized in June 1996.
