Ohio State gets third and fourth crystal ball for five-star talent

· Yahoo Sports

The Ohio State football team has received a third and fourth crystal ball prediction for another five-star talent. Defensive lineman Marcus Fakatou narrowed his decision to just three schools, which include the Buckeyes, and shortly after the picks in favor of the Scarlet and Gray have been rolling in.

The latest predictions come from Kyle Kelly and Eric Nahlin from On3/Rivals, with Nahlin a Texas insider. Why is that important? It was reported that along with Ohio State, Fakatou's other top choices are Georgia and Texas. The Longhorns can't be counted out as they just stole another defensive lineman who seemed like a Buckeye lean in Kasi Currie. Both Fakatou and Currie both attend Sierra Canyon High School.

It was also mentioned that Fakatou has canceled his official visits to Oregon and Notre Dame. Both schools were seen as major threats to lure the No. 2 defensive lineman in the land away from Columbus.

Fakatou made Ohio State his first official visit when he was on campus the final weekend of May. By all accounts, things went very well. Larry Johnson and Ryan Day are hoping all signs continue to point in that direction and can secure a commitment from another of their top targets.
