Admit it, you would have trouble finding Curaçao on a map.

Even with that, you would be one step ahead of Bayern Munich midfielder and projected starter for Germany, Aleksandar Pavlović.

Pavlović had never even heard of Curaçao prior to the World Cup draw. Now, though, he will be an expert on their football team as the Germans are ready for their World Cup opener vs. the island nation.

“At the time of the draw, I didn’t know the country, I have to admit. But it’s certainly a great event for them, and we’re looking forward to the game. We’ve seen some footage of them. They try to counter-attack and sit very deep. We have to watch out for that. I’m looking forward to getting started and we’re all excited,” Pavlović told ZDF (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

While Germany is expected to be a big favorite, this is widely-regarded as the best team from Curaçao ever, which should make this one fun.
