Who does Bleacher Report think will win the Vikings QB job?

Last season, the quarterback play for the Minnesota Vikings was less than ideal, as the lack of quality play played a major part in this offense finishing 28th in the NFL. J.J. McCarthy struggled to stay healthy, and his performance on the field did not yield much promise.

It was because of this that the Vikings went out and signed Kyler Murray to a one-year deal to be competition for the former 10th overall pick. While we may not officially know just yet who will lead the offense during week one of the 2026 NFL season, Bleacher Report believes they have the answer.
Brent Sobelski of Bleacher Report predicted the five major quarterback battles in the NFL this offseason and listed Murray as the eventual winner of the job. We will likely have to wait until training camp for the official word on who will be starting.
One can assume this is already Murray's job to lose.
McCarthy was believed to have had a ton of potential coming out of Michigan, but this roster is built to make a run now, and it is clear that the franchise is not willing to wait around much longer. We should see Murray break the huddle in week one, which could lead to a similar season as we saw with Sam Darnold at the helm.
