The 6-foot Fever superstar had also gone back into the tunnel during the first quarter and returned to the bench wearing a wrap around her back.

In postgame, Fever head coach Stephanie White said she had "no current update" on Clark's back.

"It's a long season, we got to make sure that she's healthy. As far as adjustments, it's like next player up, you know. Ty (Harris) has got to be ready to play some more minutes, obviously Raven (Johnson) has to be ready. We've got to take on a little bit more collectively, I think," White said.

Clark finished with 19 points, eight assists and one steal on 5-of-9 shooting and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.

Clark has been battling a back injury throughout this 2026 WNBA season. Entering Wednesday night, Clark had been listed on the Fever's day-before injury report as probable with a back ailment in each of the past 13 Indiana games.

After the Fever host the Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday, Indiana gets a full week off before returning to action on Sunday, July 5, at Las Vegas.
