The Atlanta Dream took on the Seattle Storm as their opponent during their most recent WNBA match. After the final buzzer, the Dream were handed a 105-90 defeat by the Storm.
While the defeat was surprising, what Angel Reese did with her former LSU teammate Flau’jae Johnson was even more unexpected.

The Dream vs. Storm clash was the first time that Reese faced off against her NCAA teammate, and many expected the two to shake hands after the game.
But as shown in a viral ESPN clip on X, Johnson attempted to shake hands with Reese, but the Dream star completely ignored her.
Reese was clearly frustrated with the defeat, but ignoring Johnson when the Storm star was simply looking to shake hands puts the Dream forward in a bad light.
Upon being ignored by Reese, Johnson threw up her hands in shock as she couldn’t believe how her former teammate ignored her on camera.
WNBA fans react to Angel Reese’s moment with Flau’jae Johnson
As expected, WNBA fans were quick to react to the clip as they flooded with a plethora of reactions, mainly calling out Reese.
“That was lame and loser behavior,” a fan said. While another added, “Reese is such a sore loser, not surprised.”
“They fell out in college. Let it be!” a third fan chimed in. One fan defended Reese, stating, “I feel like Johnson didn’t mean to be, but that’s disrespectful. Wrong time and place.”
“Angel is the most unlikable player that Y’ALL keep trying to push,” a fifth fan announced.
After a 15-point defeat, it’s understandable that Reese was frustrated, but most fans called her out for being a sore loser.
Imagine if she had won? There’s a high probability that she would have shaken hands with Johnson.
