Browns key offensive threat back to work after missing offseason
· Yahoo Sports
We are now just three weeks out from Cleveland Browns training camp, and ahead of the return of football to Berea, multiple players are getting in work at the facility. One of those players is now second-year tight end Harold Fannin Jr., who is coming off a monster season.
This may not seem like much on the surface, but this is the first time we've seen Fannin putting in work all offseason long. The talented pass catcher has been sidelined all offseason with an undisclosed injury; however, he was on the field with quarterback Deshaun Watson and others as the Browns prepare for their first year under new head coach Todd Monken.

Getting Fannin back to full strength by the start of training camp would be a massive boost for the Browns.

A look back at his rookie season with Browns
It's rare for a rookie tight end to make an immediate impact. It's even rarer for that immediate production to come from a third round pick. However, Fannin hit the ground running as a rookie and did not look back.
Fannin racked up 731 yards receiving and six touchdowns on 72 catches for the Cleveland offense a year ago. Now paired with a head coach who led Isaiah Likely to a great deal of production, one has to assume that Monken also has big plans for Fannin in 2026. This comes after the departure of long-time starting tight end David Njoku as well.
Can we count on another big year from Fannin?
