Two of the four quarter-finals have already been played, with Norway eyeing a place in the semi-finals for the first time ever.

Haaland is likely going to play a huge role in dragging his side past the Three Lions on Saturday in Miami.

The Manchester City striker is still in the race for the Golden Boot as his return of seven goals is only one behind Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

Haaland will be facing a lot of familiar faces in the England squad given he plays in the Premier League for Man City.

Some may feel this will give the striker an advantage as he knows his opposition inside and out, but Haaland has admitted he’ll find it slightly ‘weird’.

Haaland will be facing good friend Jude Bellingham in Miami, with the pair having a long-standing friendship following their time together at Borussia Dortmund.

The Norwegian may also be facing Man City teammates Nico O’Reilly and Marc Guehi.

“It’s the biggest match of my life, undoubtedly. I said that about Brazil, too,” Haaland told SBS Sport.

When asked about facing his Man City teammates, Haaland replied: “It’s a bit weird, if I’m being honest.

“You spend more time with those guys than anyone else in your life. Seeing them every day, training with them every day. Travelling with them here and there. Marc Guehi and John Stones are the guys I’ve been joking around with over the past two years.

“So it’s a bit weird.”

England’s Djed Spence thinks Harry Kane is as good as Haaland, if not better.

It is expected to be a shootout between the two strikers, with the pair of them bringing their fine form for their clubs into this summer’s World Cup.

All eyes are going to be on who can come out on top and book their spot in the semi-final.
