Geno VanDeMark's tenure with the Colts
The Colts signed VanDeMark as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL draft.
What to know about Geno VanDeMark
VanDeMark has played over 1,500 career snaps over his four seasons -- two of which came at Michigan State and the last two at Alabama. He has experience playing all three interior offensive line positions, with most of his snaps coming at right guard.
Last season, he allowed two sacks and 12 pressures over 365 pass-blocking snaps and was penalized just once. Out of 190 eligible guards, he ranked 106th in PFF's pass-blocking efficiency metric and 84th in run-blocking grade out of 331 linemen.
VanDeMark was one of five Colts' UDFAs to receive over $200,000 in guaranteed money, a fairly significant amount when it comes to undrafted free agency.
Looking ahead to 2026 for Geno VanDeMark
The Colts do need to determine who will be their backup center behind Tanor Bortolini this summer, but early signs point toDalton Tucker as the favorite for that role. VanDenMark's ceiling in Year 1 may be the practice squad, where he'll have the chance to continue developing. He may, however, be competing with Josh Kreutz and Jimmy Morrissey for that spot(s).
