‘Unforeseen circumstance’ force organisers to cancel 2026 ‘Rocking the Daisies’

Every year, music and culture lovers descend on Cloof Wine Estate in Darling, Cape Town, to enjoy art, camping, and music by local and international artists. However, the 2026 edition of Rocking the Daisies, one of South Africa’s premier annual music and lifestyle festivals, has been cancelled.
The organisers made the announcement on their social media, and website, citing unforeseen circumstances beyond their control as the reason for the cancelation.

The festival was due to take place from 2 to 4 October.
Artists like Shekhinah, Mi Casa, Nasty C, UK’s Jorja Smith, and Isaiah Rashad were booked for the 2026 festival.
The Statement:
“Despite multiple attempts to find solutions, a number of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control have made it impossible for Rocking the Daisies to proceed in 2026. This decision was not made lightly, and we extend our gratitude to our family of patrons, artists, partners, and everyone who was looking forward to the festival this year.
All ticket refunds will be processed automatically, with funds expected to reflect in patrons’ accounts within one to three business days. No action is required from ticket holders.
While Rocking the Daisies will not be taking place this year, we will be announcing an alternative 1-day show via the IN THE CITY platform across JHB and CPT, featuring a line-up of some of your international and local favourites.
