Contract details for Nikita Klepov's Anaheim Ducks ELC released

· Yahoo Sports

In a shocking development for Michigan State hockey, Nikita Klepov decided to sign an entry level contract with the Anaheim Ducks, making him ineligible to join the Spartans this season as originally planned. Now, Klepov will attempt to make the Ducks roster, or will be heading back to the OHL with the Saginaw Spirit.

The news came as a blow to the Spartans, who announced Klepov as a part of the roster just 24 hours prior. But now, it is about replacing Klepov, and moving towards the 2026-27 season as planned.
