Detroit Lions Wide Receiver Calls Out Jared Goff for Hilarious Reason

Jared Goff may be one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks, but Amon-Ra St. Brown apparently does not think he belongs anywhere near a dance floor.
During a recent appearance at Fanatics Fest, St. Brown was asked whether Goff might join more Detroit Lions touchdown celebrations in 2026. His answer was equal parts honest and hilarious.

“Bro I would like to get Jared more in on the cellys, but my man really don’t have no rhythm. It’s tough if you don’t have no rhythm,” St. Brown said as quoted by Lions OnSI.
Goff Would Rather Score and Move On
St. Brown explained that Goff’s personality is a big part of the equation.
“And Jared is not that type of guy either. He does not want to dance, he does not want to, he wants to throw touchdowns and go to the sidelines, win games and go home to his wife and kid.”
That sounds about right.
While players such as St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs and Jameson Williams have embraced creative touchdown celebrations, Goff has always been more reserved. He usually offers a quick reaction, congratulates his teammates and heads back to the sideline.
No choreography. No spotlight. No problem.
There Is One Way to Get Goff Involved
St. Brown did reveal that Goff is occasionally willing to participate.
“But Jared, I think he has been in on a few,” St. Brown added. “He will do like a group one. If we do like a group celly, he will join. But other than that, man, Jared’s a chill guy.”
So there is still hope.
If the Lions score enough touchdowns, St. Brown and the rest of Detroit’s offense may eventually find a celebration simple enough for Goff to handle. Just do not expect him to lead it.

Amon-Ra St. Brown wants Jared Goff involved in more touchdown celebrations, but he sees one obvious problem.
The Lions quarterback has no rhythm and very little interest in showing otherwise.
Detroit fans probably will not mind. As long as Goff keeps throwing touchdowns and winning games, he can celebrate however he wants.
