In what was another wild game on Sunday, the Kentucky Wildcats TBT (The Basketball Tournament) alumni team, La Familia, stayed alive by beating Boeheim's Army 70-66. It wasn't an easy win over the Syracuse alumni, though, and required an impressive comeback late in the game.

La Familia started strong and got out to a lead early in the game behind some terrific shooting, including Andrew Harrison. The lead grew to double digits before the Syracuse team began to heat up themselves. They cut into the lead quickly, and the Wildcats team went into halftime up by just three points.
The second half saw Boeheim's Army continue their good play, and they jumped into the lead. Shots weren't falling for Kentucky's team and they fell behind by eight points in the third quarter. La Familia continued to trail, but had the lead down to three when the Elam ending was set, setting up a fantastic finish.
With the goal set, the good guys made their move. Archie Goodwin came up big again, and gave La Familia the lead. The Syracuse team had possession with a chance to end it, but Kentucky got a steal, a missed shot, and then Kahlil Whitney slammed home the putback to end it.
Goodwin led La Familia with 30 points and added 5 assists. Darryl Morsell added a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Whitney had 7 points, including the game-winner, and 3 steals.
Kentucky will await the winner between the Wichita State and Kansas alumni teams. They face off Monday night.
