Heim's No. 67 car passed post-race inspection, and no cars will be taken back to the R&D Center, NASCAR announced on Sunday night. It was an unexpected victory for Heim, who was able to hold off Christopher Bell and Joey Logano despite having the worst car of the three drivers.
While passing the leader was nearly impossible, Heim was one slip-up away from Bell taking advantage of his mistake. Instead, the driver of the No. 67 car was able to put together 30 perfect laps at Indianapolis. Now, Heim can call himself a Crown Jewel winner in the Cup Series.
