"Chris Brazzell now being helped off the field," Person said. "Not putting any weight on his left leg. He will be carted into the locker room. Not a great sign for the rookie wideout from Tennessee."
Brazzell II was selected in the third round by Carolina (No. 83 overall) in April's NFL draft.
He played at Tennessee from 2024-25 after transferring from Tulane. In 25 games with the Vols, Brazzell II totaled 91 receptions for 1,350 yards and 11 touchdowns.
His longest reception was 72 yards against Georgia on Sept. 13, 2025. The former Vol totaled 177 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns against the Bulldogs. Brazzell II was named East-West Shrine Bowl Breakout Offensive Player of the Week after his performance.
