Head coach Mike Macdonald has been preaching "run it forward" since Organized Team Activities (OTAs) in June. Since Jaxon Smith-Njigba reset the wide receiver contract market in March, Macdonald's messaging has also been laser-focused on improvement. From an outward perspective, their plan's forward progress seems just as efficient as it was when they left off.
Seahawks training camp runs July 25 to August 13. There are still eight practices open to the public. Several more are happening behind closed doors. After summiting the NFL's peak, the Seahawks are the team most focused on their returning stars. They clearly believe those stars can reach an even higher level this season.
