Uli Hoeneß backs longer stay for Harry Kane after Rottach-Egern rout
· Yahoo Sports
Harry Kane’s future at Bayern Munich appears to have the full backing of one of the club’s most influential figures.
When asked about the striker’s contract situation after Bayern Munich’s 15-0 friendly win over Rottach-Egern, Uli Hoeneß expressed confidence that there is no reason for Kane to leave, while praising both his performances and his character.

“I haven’t spoken directly with Harry about that, but I hear he’s very happy in Munich. We’re very happy with him too, and there’s really no reason for him to leave next year. He’s a role model in every respect. Not just as a goalscorer, as a player on the pitch, but also as a person,” Hoeneß said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia)
Those comments reflect just how highly Kane is regarded within Bayern Munich. Since arriving from Tottenham, the England captain has established himself as much more than an elite goalscorer. His professionalism, leadership, and work ethic have made him one of the club’s standard-bearers.
If Hoeneß’s remarks are any indication, Bayern Munich views Kane as a cornerstone of its project for years to come.
