It is very impressive that Crews is in a Chase spot over his Joe Gibbs Racing teammates despite missing four races. Unfortunately for the driver of the No. 19 car, the last two races are at Iowa Speedway and Daytona International Speedway. These are two tracks with no experience in an O'Reilly Series car.
Crews figures to contend in the Chase if he can make it; however, these next two weeks will be very critical. The seeding doesn't matter for hte Joe Gibbs Racing driver, as making the Chase remains the top priority. If Crews can survive Iowa and Daytona, he could be a dark horse in the championship battle.
