The Road to Williamsport continues for Bridgewater Little League.
The Massachusetts state champions will head to Bristol, Conn. later this week to play in the New England Regionals. The New England champion then advances to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Penn.

It hasn't been an easy road, as Bridgewater staved off elimination several times in the sectional and state tournaments. Bridgewater began the summer by winning the District 7 title. Then came the Section 2 title, where Bridgewater had to shake off a 14-2 loss to Hingham before getting revenge with a 3-0 triumph in the title game.
Bridgewater fell to Parkway 8-2 in the semifinals of the state tournament, but rebounded for a resounding 11-0 win in 4 innings in the state championship.
When does Bridgewater Little League play next?
- When: Saturday, Aug. 8 at 1 p.m.
- Where: 335 Mix Street in Bristol, Connecticut

How far is Bridgewater Little League from the World Series?
To advance to the Little League World Series, Bridgewater needs to win three games. The tournament format is the same as the state tournament. It's a modified double-elimination bracket. The championship is a winner-take-all game.
