Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced what the pitching rotation will look like for the upcoming week, with Skubal taking the mound on Monday, Aug. 10 and Blake Snell returning to the rotation to start on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

It will be Skubal’s home debut at Dodger Stadium, after he was acquired by the organization ahead of the trade deadline.

Los Angeles traded away outfielder Zyhir Hope and a pair of right-handed pitchers — River Ryan and Brady Smith — for Skubal.

The Hayward, California, native has not pitched in a regular-season game at Dodger Stadium. He has pitched in a Dodger uniform already, producing six strikeouts while allowing four hits, two earned runs and a home run in six innings pitched against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on Aug. 4.

How long will Tarik Skubal be a Dodger?

Skubal will have the opportunity to become a free agent after making $32 million this season.

“I would love to play my whole career in Detroit,” Skubal said on the "Pardon My Take" podcast. “Hopefully those negotiations can pick back up in (November) once the playoffs are done.”
