HSV winger Fabio Baldé set to join Strasbourg for €7 million

Hamburger SV and RC Strasbourg reached total agreement for the transfer of Fabio Baldé. According to BILD and Sky Sports, the transfer fee will be €7 million plus add-ons.

The 21-year-old winger was a big prospect at HSV before injuries and fitness issues reduced his playing time. The Hamburg-native has only played 16 league games in HSV’s long-awaited Bundesliga return last term.
According to multiple reports, the medical check is scheduled for Thursday as Baldé will then sign a deal until 2031 with the Ligue 1 club. The player recently deleted all posts related to HSV from his Instagram page.
The first traces of the transfer rumors were out yesterday as the identity of the French club wasn’t known at the time. Baldé scored three goals in 41 appearances for HSV in all competitions.
