The Edge hosts VT Senior Games Pickleball Tournament

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – The Edge in South Burlington hosted its first ever Vermont Senior Games Doubles Pickleball Tournament on Aug. 22 and 23.
This year's tournament is believed to be the single largest pickleball event held in Vermont and highlights only senior athletes over the age of 50.

There were 210 players coming in and competing to go to nationals with age groups split up every four years, ranging from 50 to 80+.
The top three finishers in each age division qualify to participate in the National Senior Games in Tulsa, OK in summer 2027 with more than 12,000 athletes.
