Good friends and rising tennis stars Iva Jovic and Alexandra Eala were entertaining a crowded Arthur Ashe Stadium on Thursday night as part of the “Stars of the Open” US Open exhibition.
In the middle of the set, Jovic and Eala were spotted talking for an extensive period during a changeover.

When Jovic was asked by Andrea Petkovic what the discussion was about, she replied that the duo was plotting something.

Jovic, Eala bring their dads on court
The well-planned surprise involved bring their dads on the court.
Each woman handed her dad a racquet, and they proceeded to play doubles.
Jovic’s father was tasked with serving while Eala’s dad was the returner.
When that plan did not go well, Eala took over as the returner to get a short rally going.

Jovic, Eala gain Arthur Ashe Stadium playing experience
The exhibition allowed Jovic and Eala to gain valuable playing experience in front of the Arthur Ashe Stadium packed audience before main draw play begins on August 30.
Arthur Ashe Stadium is the largest tennis court in the world so the women could gain intel from this opportunity.
Though they are competitors, they understood the task at hand and engaged in fun and challenging rallies to entertain the fans.
Jovic and Eala could potentially meet in the third round should both women progress through their early round matches.
