With less than 36 hours left in the window, things are starting to get very hot in terms of Chelsea outgoing deals.

Some have been brewing for a while, but some are coming from nowhere. That’s the case with this latest rumour, which claims that Tottenham are interested in Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo, who has been frozen out at Stamford Bridge under Xabi Alonso.

Along with the rumoured Como interest in Robert Sanchez, this could potentially end up being a sensationally successful end to the window for the Blues in shifting players who have cost them big in recent seasons who it felt like it could be hard to sell.

Of course we’re not opening the Champagne just yet. This deal is a long way off – it seems to depend to some degree on Spurs selling Kevin Danso. But there is some encouraging language in there from Romano, who says that it’s a “concrete possibility” discussed today.

He says Spurs are “working on a deal” to sign the defender. Things could move very fast in the next few hours. Chelsea could end up with a huge coup if they get this deal done.

In other news…

Another late deal we could see completed would see Robert Sanchez join Como after the sudden arrival of Emi Martinez at Stamford Bridge.
