CHAMPAIGN, Il — After a massive 65 yard punt return from Mac Resetich, Illinois got possession on the opposing 30 yard line.
After a 7-yard Aiden Laughery rush, followed by a short pass to Hudson Clement, QB Katin Houser and the Illini found themselves at the 18 yard line.
In just his third play, Houser found the open man, Collin Dixon, for a touchdown putting Illinois on top. The field goal was good, giving the Illini their first seven of the season.
